Frame Plates Drilled - June 2009
| The frame plates for the new 'Patriot' - 'The Unknown Warrior' were drilled and machined at The Boro Foundry in the West Midlands during June 2009. The frame plates will be delivered to the Llangollen Railway Works for assembly to begin. Quotes have now been obtained for the drag boxes, and orders are about to be placed for these. New drawings for the frame stretchers are currently being produced. Thank you to everybody who has contributed to the Frames Appeal so far.
