Frame Plates Delivered to Llangollen Railway Works - July 2009
| A landmark moment occurred on July 3rd 2009 when the frame plates for the new 'Patriot' - 'The Unknown Warrior' were delivered to the Llangollen Railway Works. County Cranes and Transport Ltd. successfully transported the newly drilled frame plates from The Boro Foundry in the West Midlands to Llangollen. The frame plates are now inside the Works at Llangollen where assembly will take place. Orders are about to be placed for the drag boxes and new drawings for the frame stretchers are currently being produced. Thank you to everybody who has contributed to the Frames Appeal so far.
