December 2024 saw 5551 'The Unknown Warrior' move into the main workshop area inside Tyseley Locomotive Works, enabling reassembly to commence.

Our move from West Shed to Tyseley is continuing to impact on the overall progress of the build.

Illustrated talk on progress with the Unknown Warrior at Caversham, Berks

This talk is a Progress Update given by Colin Hall as an LMS-Patriot Company Member to the Watercress Line Heritage Railway Trust Thames Valley Branch at the North Hall, Caversham Hall, St Johns Road, Caversham, Reading, Berks, RG4 5AN. Visitors are very welcome on what will be the final ever meeting of this branch which sadly closes that night.

Colin Hall, Chairman of the LMS-Patriot Company, announced in the August 'Warrior' Members' magazine his decision to step down from the role.

It is being held at Bentley Motors, Sunnybank Road, Crewe, CW2 8WD.

Please note show closes at 17.00 on the 08/11/25

Adults £10, Accompanied children under 16 free.

Rail-Ex Taunton 2025

The LMS Patriot New Build Project will have its sales stall open throughout this weekend.

Latest Appeal - Sponsor a Nut or a Rivet

As the frames of 'The Unknown Warrior' are rapidly coming together at Tyseley Loco Works we now need to purchase new rivets and nuts.

Around 140 Philidas nuts are needed. These are a special type of self-locking nut that use mechanical deformation in their collar to grip the bolt threads. In addition to these, we need around 1000 rivets.
