Come onboard for a special fundraising fish and chip evening dining train - 'The Patriot Plaice' - to help raise funds for the new National Memorial Engine - 'The Unknown Warrior' which is being assembled at the Llangollen Railway.
Steam hauled special private train with round trip along the Dee Valley to Carrog and local chip shop meal for £17 per person. The meal will be served at your seat just after leaving Llangollen in beautifully restored 1950s carriages.
The LMS-Patriot Project launched an exhibition – titled ‘Rails and Remembrance’, at the People’s History Museum in Manchester on 3rd May. The Project has received Heritage Lottery Funding to stage the exhibition.

2013 was a momentous year for The LMS-Patriot Project, culminating in the first public appearance of ‘The Unknown Warrior’ away from its Llangollen construction base at The National Memorial Arboretum and then two days later appearing as the centrepiece loco display at the busy two-day Warley National Model Railway Exhibition.
The 2013 Annual Fundraising Raffle was drawn on Sunday 24th November at the Warley National Model Railway Exhibition. The winning tickets were drawn by Warley Chairman, Paul Jones, in front of 'The Unknown Warrior' which was the centrepiece display at Warley.
