February Update

Members will currently be receiving the latest issue of our newsletter The Warrior . This shows that an encouraging amount of work has been possible at Crewe Heritage Centre in the last months, thanks to our volunteers. Meanwhile the first quote to complete the locomotive has now been received and two more are expected shortly.  All being well, we hope to decide where the final build will go (including consideration of completing it ourselves) at the next Board meeting , which is at the end of April.   

Support our Coach Appeal

We have been investigating the purchase of a support coach to run with The Unknown Warrior and have been making some low level enquiries over the last couple of years. A main line registered BR Mk1 BSK has now become available. We have registered an interest and expect to be conducting an inspection soon.

This talk takes place at the Pauling Human Sciences Centre, 58, Banbury Road, Oxford, Oxfordshire. Speaker is David Bradshaw, the LMS Patriot New Build Project chairman

It is open to non GWS members and visitors.
